Bio
Now 37, I've been woodworking for 23 years. Beginning in my father's footsteps allowed me to understand the basics from a very young age. Today, I can proudly say that I am at an expert level when it comes to a variety of things. This includes conceptualizing/project planning, fabrication involving a wide range of materials, fine finishing, and installation. I am highly skilled when it comes to many other techniques and areas of expertise, and I am also good at working with others - be it as a patient teacher or a fast learner. Once everyone involved in a particular project is on the same page, I require little to no supervision in order to provide more than adequate results. As you'll see below, I have a colorful work history which has contributed to me being as comfortable with and understanding of traditional approaches as I am with new technology. I am extremely precision-oriented, from everything to the first piece I cut to the final detail of assembly or installation. It comes very naturally to me to to operate, maintain, and organize any tools or equipment I use, and I frequently find that this trait benefits not only myself, but my coworkers as well. Also, I am very creative at heart. This can come in handy when it applies to planning and finding creative solutions to any snags that may present themselves, and it also lends to me being particularly adaptable and to bringing a fresh perspective to every project I approach.
